The Consello Galego de Relacións Laborais has just approved for unanimity the publication of the web site of this organism, which I have the honour of presiding.

    Since its creation in 1988 the Consello Galego de Relacións Laborais was configured as a permanent dialogue place for the social agents in Galicia. Throughout these years, and with diverse vicissitudes, the Consello has been assuming the functions the law recognizes to it, of passing the labour procedure dictated by the Xunta of Galicia, promotion of the social debate, fomenting the collective bargaining or promoting and facilitating the mediation and the arbitration in work conflicts among others.

    If in the year 1992, the signature of the Galician Agreement of Extrajudicial Solution of Collective Work Conflicts opened the door to new more agile and effective exits in labour conflicts of collective character, the present situation sues us the promotion of this system and the search of new formulae which give fast and satisfactory answer to every conflict situation which can be produced in relations between businessmen and workers.

    In any case, it is necessary more than ever orientate the task of this organism towards the search of agreement spaces between social interlocutors, in the measurement that the modern labour relations demand it.

    It is my desire, that the contents of this page are clear and useful to all of those, who, in one way or another, have some relation with labour world and its constant improvement.
